UPS (linear-interactive)

UPS Line - interactive (Smart UPS) (VI according to IEC 62040-3) is one of the most commonly used UPS types recently. Usually, the improvement of VFD units (UPS off-line) is due to the use of a step-switchable winding in the construction of a transformer, a similar technology is used in voltage regulators. This chain and the function it realizes is sometimes called a booster.

UPS class VI (UPS Line-interactive) provides a normal operating mode (load from the network) with a wider range of input voltages compared to devices class VFD (UPS off-line): reduces the number of transitions to work from the battery and increases battery life, which significantly reduces operating costs.
