GENERAL INFORMATION

SolarX SXMG (AGM multi-gel) stationary lead-acid batteries, sealed with an excess-pressure (recombination) valve, are reliable, durable, maintenance-free autonomous power sources throughout their service life, designed for continuous float-charge or cyclic operation.

The advantages of AGM multi-gel technology are low self-discharge, high resistance to deep discharges, and the ability to operate at various tilt angles. Production uses pasted positive-plate technology.

The gas-recombination valve maintains internal pressure at 0.14~0.16 bar above atmospheric and a small gas redistribution during battery operation. Only qualified personnel with the necessary clearance to work with electrical installations up to 1000 V, familiar with the Operating Instructions and having completed safety training, are permitted to work with batteries.

TECHNICAL DATA

SolarX batteries are imported by the manufacturer already filled with electrolyte, fully charged and ready for use. SolarX batteries withstand at least 800 charge/discharge cycles, allowing this battery to be used for a fairly long period of time. The battery terminals are marked with positive and negative polarity.

The main technical characteristics of the batteries are given in the Operating Instructions. SolarX batteries comply with standards GB/T 19639.1-2005, IEC60896-21/22:2004, IEC61056-1/2:2002, BS 6290-4:1997, JIS C 8702-1/2:2009.

The stated technical characteristics apply at nominal temperature, and must have at least 95% of guaranteed capacity on the first charge-discharge cycle and 100% by no later than the 5th cycle. The outer casing of the battery is made of fire-resistant ABS plastic, and the battery's structural design provides shock and vibration resistance. An improved separator increases protection against internal short circuits and deep discharge.

The technical characteristics are guaranteed by the manufacturer provided the storage, operation and maintenance requirements are met.

Transportation requirements

SolarX stationary sealed maintenance-free batteries with gel electrolyte are safe to transport by any means of transport. Transportation is only permitted in an upright position. Protection against short circuits, drops, impacts and tipping is required during transportation.

They may be placed on pallets. Stacking pallets on top of each other is prohibited.

The outer packaging must show no signs of electrolyte leakage. Batteries with a damaged casing must be packaged and transported as dangerous goods.

The delivery set is determined by the contract.

battery-carrying mechanisms;

SERVICE LIFE AND STORAGE

The maximum storage period for SolarX batteries without recharging is 24 months in a dry room at an air temperature not exceeding 20°C.

The design service life in continuous float-charge mode at 20°C is 10-12 years. The actual service life is halved for every 10-degree increase in operating temperature.
